Dear Maintainer, After upgrading to Trixie i realized that harddrive in my laptop, (which is normaly sleeping) is spun up by smartd checking disks. As purpose of smartd is to pretect disks, this beaviour is doing the oposite. -n standby in config file doesnt help. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.57+deb13-rt-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages smartmontools depends on: ii debianutils 5.23.2 ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libcap-ng0 0.8.5-4+b1 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 ii libselinux1 3.8.1-1 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-19 ii libsystemd0 257.9-1~deb13u1 ii sysvinit-utils 3.14-4 smartmontools recommends no packages.
