If so please reassign. It's most likely not a problem of network-manager-kde. Do you have a stable connection if you configure and run wpa_supplicant manually (without running network-manager)? The ipw2100 is very well supported, so it's probably not a driver bug. Do you have you wlan router setup to rotate your (four) hex-keys?
