mmc-utils fails to cross build from source, because it does not pass cross tools to make. This is a regression from the previous upload versioned 0+git20220624.d7b343fd-1. The easiest way of doing so - using dh_auto_build - makes it cross buildable. I'm attaching a patch for your convenience. Helmut
