Package: php-odbc
Version: php8.2-8.2.29
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I need to connect to a HFSQL database which supplies only iodbc
   driver for Linux
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     - apt source php8.2
     - modify some depenbdencies to libiodbc2 instead of UnixOdbc to
       debian/control, debian/control.in, rules.d/ext-odbc.mk
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   Having a php-iodbc package
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
For now I tried a fake php-odbc linked to iodbc but dpkg-buildpackage
-b stop by not founding pdo-odbc. Not so easy to implement.
