Package: squid-openssl
Version: 7.2-2
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

Dear Maintainer,

The manpage link for squid-openssl is broken in squid version 7.2-2. It
points to /usr/share/man/man8/squid.8 instead of
/usr/share/man/man8/squid.8.gz, which is the correct file generated by
dh_compress.

To reproduce:
- launch a debian/sid system
- install man, squid and squid-openssl
- run man squid, verify it works
- run man squid-openssl, verify it does not work (no manpage)
- run man /usr/share/man/man8/squid-openssl.8, verify it does not work
and shows the missing file error.
- run ls -l /usr/share/man/man8/squid* and see the symlink is broken for
  squid-openssl

This seems to be happening because the link points to a manpage for a
different binary package, and then dh_compress is not dealing with it
properly.

I have sent a MR fixing this by correcting the extension in the symlink,
pointing it to the expected result of the compression in the squid man:
