Package: xfce4-power-manager Version: 4.20.0-1 Severity: normal Tags: a11y X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Since debian version trixie and also still in forky the installation of the xfce4-power-manager package via apt-get or synaptic does not add an entry to the system menu and also does not start the daemon. Workaround: start xfce4-power-manager-settings from the command line or from folder /usr/share/applications. This will show a pop-up to confirm the start of the daemon. In older releases up to bookworm this error was not present. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers forky APT policy: (500, 'forky'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.17.8+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages xfce4-power-manager depends on: ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.18.4-1+b1 ii libcairo2 1.18.4-1+b1 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.86.2-1 ii libgtk-3-0t64 3.24.51-1 ii libnotify4 0.8.6-2 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.56.3-2 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.56.3-2 ii libupower-glib3 1.91.0-1 ii libwayland-client0 1.24.0-2+b1 ii libx11-6 2:1.8.12-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.4-1+b3 ii libxfce4ui-2-0 4.20.2-1 ii libxfce4util7 4.20.1-1 ii libxfconf-0-3 4.20.0-1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.4-1+b3 ii upower 1.91.0-1 ii xfce4-power-manager-data 4.20.0-1 Versions of packages xfce4-power-manager recommends: ii libpam-systemd [logind] 259~rc1-1 ii xfce4-power-manager-plugins 4.20.0-1 xfce4-power-manager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information ============================================================================================== -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.2 APT prefers trixie APT policy: (500, 'trixie'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.57+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages xfce4-power-manager depends on: ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libcairo-gobject2 1.18.4-1+b1 ii libcairo2 1.18.4-1+b1 ii libglib2.0-0t64 2.84.4-3~deb13u1 ii libgtk-3-0t64 3.24.49-3 ii libnotify4 0.8.6-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.56.3-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.56.3-1 ii libupower-glib3 1.90.9-1 ii libwayland-client0 1.23.1-3 ii libx11-6 2:1.8.12-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.4-1+b3 ii libxfce4ui-2-0 4.20.1-1 ii libxfce4util7 4.20.1-1 ii libxfconf-0-3 4.20.0-1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.4-1+b3 ii upower 1.90.9-1 ii xfce4-power-manager-data 4.20.0-1 Versions of packages xfce4-power-manager recommends: ii libpam-systemd [logind] 257.9-1~deb13u1 ii xfce4-power-manager-plugins 4.20.0-1 xfce4-power-manager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
