ExecReload=/usr/sbin/php-fpm8.4 --test --fpm-config /etc/php/8.4/fpm/php-fpm.conf It prevents the FPM daemon from just exiting on reload if the new configuration is invalid. For prior art, have a look at lighttpd. -- ciao, Marco
