This package has a direct Build-Depends on the dbus package. This could be a larger dependency than it really needs, and could interfere with use of the non-default dbus-broker package as a system bus. Perhaps the answer is that it doesn't? Or, if it's using the dbus package to run unit tests, perhaps via dbus-run-session(1) or by invoking dbus-daemon(1) directly, then a dependency on the dbus-daemon package is likely to be sufficient and would not interfere with using an alternative implementation like dbus-broker as a system bus. smcv
