Hi, I have just noticed that you make the move in Trixie, namely that you removed the link in /usr/sbin. However, Debian has not yet make the move to merge /usr/sbin and /usr/bin . So I would say that the move is premature as far as debian is concerned. In fact this looks inconsistent for now as the configuration file backup2l.conf is in /etc and that its content somehow assumes superprivileges.
