Package: wl-clipboard Version: 2.2.1-2 Severity: wishlist `wl-paste --watch` no longer works in Debian KDE Plasma Workspace because that moved to a newer standardised protocol, and wl-clipboard added support for it, but did not yet make a new release.
https://gist.github.com/dikelps/7a487d566c3e97c9abe3957db6776a0b https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=513822 https://github.com/bugaevc/wl-clipboard/issues/242 https://github.com/bugaevc/wl-clipboard/issues/260 The commit keeps compatibility with the wlroots data-control protocol. So it would be good to package a snapshot until upstream releases it. Some other changes since the last release seem important to include too and none seem like breaking changes. wl-clipboard (master =) $ git log --oneline e808203 (HEAD -> master, origin/master, origin/HEAD) Fix buffer overflow in infer_mime_type_from_contents 927515b Set app id/class for the popup surface aaa927e (origin/tmpdir) Respect $TMPDIR 091d602 Add support for ext-data-control-v1 4245170 Bump copyright year to 2025 1e50b65 Set CLIPBOARD_STATE=sensitive when x-kde-passwordManagerHint is set e3c1b21 Add --sensitive flag to wl-copy 4f20741 Fix wrong flushing issue abfd513 Fix assertion failure -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (900, 'testing-debug'), (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable-debug'), (800, 'unstable'), (790, 'buildd-unstable'), (700, 'experimental-debug'), (700, 'experimental'), (690, 'buildd-experimental') merged-usr: no Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.17.13+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages wl-clipboard depends on: ii libc6 2.42-6 ii libwayland-client0 1.24.0-2+b1 Versions of packages wl-clipboard recommends: ii xdg-utils 1.2.1-2 wl-clipboard suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
