Package: pipx
Version: 1.1.0-1
Severity: normal

Both pipx and pip support a --verbose option. The pipx man page does
not state whether --verbose is passed to child processes like pip. And
yet there is a --pip-args option. So is “--verbose --pip-args='--verbose'”
necessary? Does pip get two flags? Does that elevate the verbosity level?

In tests of this usage:

  “--verbose --pip-args='--verbose'”

it appears that pip runs in silence, which suggests that the two
verbose options have a cancellation effect. Intentional or not, it
should be documented.
