Hi, Once upon a time Gitless felt like an interesting way for people to get to know Git better without having to delve into all the complex syntax and, more importantly, concepts. However, it seems that this did not really pan out, and even upstream development seems to have ceased. I don't think there is much sense in keeping the gitless package in Debian.
