This is strange because I routinely do archive rebuilds with machines with 1 cpu and 2 cpus and this package used to build ok until now in both. Now the package FTBFS on machines with 1 CPU and also with 2 CPUs, which I reported as #1123368, and to my surprise, your patch fixes that. (Thanks to Graham Inggs who pointed me to this bug). So I will apply the patch and will consider both bugs to be the same. Thanks.
