Hey, all,

I'm seeing a massive IPv6 regression with ifupdown and DHCPv6 PD on trixie that took me quite a while to follow back to these threads. It looks like this NMU being refused is a large part of why it's still broken a few months later.

I understand (and agree!) we should not want to randomly diverge from upstream, and critically -- ensure we have something maintainable. That's a good goal. However, right now, our users are the ones suffering without an end in sight. It'd be worthwhile to find a solution.

Martin-Éric: is the objection here that the package has a policy of "no patches" and not on the substance of the diff?
