Package: debian13
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
After upgrading to LMDE 7 Gigi (Debian 13: BlueZ5.82 + PipeWire 1.4.x)
on an amd64 computer
(and also after upgrading to Debian 13 / Trixie on a raspberry pi P400)
Bluetooth audio headsets that worked perfectly in previous Debian
versions (Debian 12 LMDE 6 /RPIoS bulleye) now fail to connect. The
headset (Soundcore Life Q30) is detected, paired and trusted.
Connection starts but is immediately canceled with:
br-connection-refused or br-connection-canceled
First investigation showed that No A2DP transport is created, and
PipeWire never exposes a bluez_card device. Only bluez_midi.server appears.
The same headset worked correctly on older Debian versions with
PulseAudio or
older BlueZ. and is still perfectly working on android 15, windows 11
based machine.
The issue appeared immediately and persistently after the LMDE and RpiOS
upgrade
Thank you for taking the time to review and take into account this
report in future upgrade. As you probably know, losing hardware
compatibility is always unpleasant.
