Hi Stuart Thanks for the bug report.I cannot reproduce this locally and looking at the changelog, I believe this was fixed in debputy/0.1.70 (stable-backports).
Could you retry with `debputy` from stable-backports (or later)? If it is still reproducible, I would very much like the concrete `debian/control` file, so I can make a test case for it. :)
