Properly fixing python-sparse's fail to build from source requires updating numba to be compatible with Python 3.14, which is ongoing, but I'm not sure how long it will take to be released. So I marked the 0.17.0-1 release of python-sparse as only being compatible with Python 3.13 which does have a working numba, and so it should build. I think it's reasonably to now call this bug severity important instead of serious at least until Python 3.14 becomes the default, after which point if there hasn't been a numba release, it should go back up to serious.
