Package: avahi-daemon Version: 0.8-17 Followup-For: Bug #846381 Dear Maintainer,
I think I am still running into the same issue, although remote cups servers are not involved -- just local printing on a WiFi printer. The symptom I see is the print queue being stuck, and the printer showing in different interfaces (Plasma settings "Printers" tab, as well as lpstat) the message No destination host name supplied by cups-browsed for printer "(name)", is cups-browsed running? A better description of the problem I encountered is https://github.com/OpenPrinting/cups-browsed/issues/23 and as I noted in a comment https://github.com/OpenPrinting/cups-browsed/issues/23#issuecomment-3765203139 Restarting Avahi restored printing. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.17.13+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_IL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages avahi-daemon depends on: ii adduser 3.154 ii dbus [default-dbus-system-bus] 1.16.2-2 ii libavahi-common3 0.8-17 ii libavahi-core7 0.8-17 ii libc6 2.42-7 ii libcap2 1:2.75-10+b5 ii libdaemon0 0.14-7.1+b3 ii libdbus-1-3 1.16.2-2 ii libexpat1 2.7.3-1 ii libsystemd0 259-1 Versions of packages avahi-daemon recommends: ii libnss-mdns 0.15.1-5 Versions of packages avahi-daemon suggests: pn avahi-autoipd <none> -- no debconf information
