In some cases trying to generate or renew a certificate with certbot,
i.e. running certbot certonly -d example.com can result in the
following, misleading / partial error message:
An unexpected error occured:
AttributeError: can't set attribute
This has been filed upstream and requires a package update:

This issue has been noticed on Debian 12, which has certbot version
2.1.0. Debian Trixie is shipping a much newer version of certbot, I
would like to request a backport / update to certbot version >=2.3.0.
