Sure, but as long as there is no port to libusb-1.0, this package will automatically disappear. As APC (or Schneider Electric nowadays) still develop their PowerChute software, and deprecated the USB HID, I wonder whether it makes sense to keep apcupsd alive ... According to your github issue, sooner or later nut will have complete support for all APC products.
