Package: autopkgtest Version: 5.53 Severity: serious Control: affects -1 dpkg
Hi! Starting with dpkg 1.23.4, which contains code to parse and validate email addresses, the autopkgtests for autopkgtest itself fail due multiple addresses in the Maintainer fields, as seen from for example this error message: dpkg-source: error: cannot parse Maintainer field value "Autopkgtest team <[email protected]>, Üñïcøδ€ <[email protected]>" I noticed this due the autopkgtest triggered by dpkg, for its migration, which will currently be prevented by this.
