Thank you for forwarding my patch. I agree with upstream that -Denable-gir=true is the better solution here. In several other packages, gir was forcefully disabled by the build system for cross builds. In babl, it is the default instead. Stating the choice explicitly in debian/rules is good. I should have done that right from the start, but I thought it was like the others. Sorry for the bad patch. Helmut
