Hmm, it sounds like you are investigating the -1 package, not taking
into account the corrections I made in -2 introduced to NEW few hours
later?

Ohh, I see now that I failed to actually release -2 as intended.
Fixes for both those are in git, and will be included in next packaging
relase.

I can recommend that yhe DFSG [etc.] Team, when noticing issues that
non-crucial for approval, to explicitly say so. I am sure you mean well
but please remember, that while you have that team hat on, everything
you say has an "...or else the package is REJECTED!" implied, which
skews the conversation and makes it so much more important to defuse
that implication whenever possible,
