I've posted a MR (https://salsa.debian.org/debian/hotspot/-/merge_requests/2) to update hotspot to the latest version which would also fix the CVE. So far there has been no response on the MR nor on the email I sent to the maintainer January 24th. I would like to see hotspot stay in Debian but I'm no DD myself. // Erik
