I agree this is needed. I note that some of the committee's deliberation happened privately, which may have limited the range of perspectives considered so far. Would it be possible to move the remaining discussion to a public venue to gather wider input?
The committee have had some private discussion on the matter (as we always do), but this is just sounding out thoughts, coordination, etc. not deliberation on a decision.
I think all the points we discussed were reflected in the bug already. We don't all feel the need to repeat what has already been clearly said.
