cmake should be installable when architecture builds are not in sync. Currently the locked cmake and cmake-data dependency leads to uninstallabilty. That blocks development for hours, days, weeks.I pointed that already out at DebConf, so please go ahead with that change, by either merging cmake and cmake-data, making cmake-data arch-any, or making the dependency non-strict.
As I told you on January 14th via IRC, merging cmake and cmake-data is being coordinated with upstream and planned for the 4.3.0 release.
