Package: lxqt-branding-debian Version: 0.14.0.7 Severity: normal Hi!
This package is the sole reason I have xsettingsd installed, why? $ aptitude why xsettingsd i lxqt-branding-debian Depends xsettingsd $ apt rdepends xsettingsd xsettingsd Reverse Depends: Depends: xsettingsd-dbgsym (= 1.0.2-1) |Recommends: kde-config-gtk-style Recommends: xsettings-kde Recommends: lxqt-config Depends: lxqt-branding-debian So even Plasma/KDE merely recommends it (or an alternative), so does lxqt-config itself. As far as I'm aware XSETTINGS is chiefly a GTK thing, I'm never running the daemon and can still use this package without issue. It clearly does not depend on it. Regards Oliver
