intel boards

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
I installed pipewire from backports to get the latest improveements. I
rebooted, I got no sound at all which means I could not have orca speek during
the log in process. I thaught it was a firmware or driver issue but it had no
effect. my final attempt was to revert to pulseaudio which worked immediately
after a reboot. note that this does not apply to pipewire 1.4.7 and older which
has stable haswell support but anyone else wanting to use pipewire on these
boards might want to stick with anything older than 1.4.9, hardware details.
asus maximus vi gene board, intel core i5-4670k. nvidia gforce gtk1050TI.
