Package: sponsorship-requests

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "lamco-rdp-server":

* Package name : lamco-rdp-server
   Version : 1.3.1-1
   Upstream Author : Greg Lamberson <[email protected]>
* URL : https://mentors.debian.net/package/lamco-rdp-server
* License : BUSL-1.1
* Vcs : https://salsa.debian.org/lamco/lamco-rdp-server
   Section : non-free/net
   Description : Native Wayland RDP server for Linux desktop sharing

It builds these binary packages: lamco-rdp-server - Native Wayland RDP server
for Linux desktop sharing

Changes since initial upload:

* Initial release (Closes: #1127949)

I work on infrastructure for the Linux desktop ecosystem, with a focus on
getting the Wayland remote access story on par with what X11 users have had for
years. lamco-rdp-server is the result of that work: a native RDP server that
works across compositors, not just GNOME or KDE. It detects what's available in
the running environment and uses the right capture and input path
automatically: xdg-desktop-portal for GNOME and KDE, native wlroots protocols
for Sway and Hyprland.

The RDP stack is IronRDP (pure Rust, from Devolutions), which I also contribute
to upstream. The result is a working, robust solution that supports H.264
encoding, hardware acceleration via VA-API, clipboardsync, and a configuration
GUI. It works with any standard RDP client: mstsc.exe, FreeRDP, Remmina.

The license is BUSL-1.1 (not DFSG-compliant), targeting non-free. It grants
full redistribution and noncompetitive modification rights but Includes a
production-use restriction until Dec 31 2028, after which it converts to Apache
2.0.

This is my first Debian package. I intend to maintain it actively.

I would be grateful if someone could review and sponsor my package.

Regards,

Greg Lamberson
