Source: rudecgi
Version: 5.0.0-1.1
Severity: important

Hi,

I realised that the rudecgi package was long not updated. Its
homepage[1] says that RudeCGI(tm) Open Source C++ CGI Library is at
version 5.1.0 but the download section only offers 5.0.0. The Debian
packaging repository vanished which is definitely worth a bug report.
Since popcon is very low and there are no rdepends.

Modern web development overwhelmingly favors FastCGI, HTTP libraries, or
full frameworks - raw CGI in C++ is rarely used for new software.

Thus I wonder whether we sould remove this package from Debian.

Kind regards
   Andreas.
