There's an ongoing discussion with the relevant Debian team who raised an objection last time. I'd prefer to wait to act on this until that discussion resolves. I too don't really understand how Uploaders is really helping, but I'm not the team doing the work and the team doing the work said that it is, so I want to make sure they have an opportunity to explain.
