since a long time, I enabled search suggestions in preferences. But search suggestion feature in url bar (address bar) stopped working weeks ago. I'm sorry I can't remember if it has been caused by bookworm->trixie upgrade (which I did early november). My test is to create a new tab and type in address bar (something that I know to be in history/bookmarks). If nothing happen, then the test fails. If a popup with some search result appears, then the test succeeds. I've worked with Firefox support to discover more about this issue : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2010882 It seems that Firefox ESR versions differ in behavior : - version in Debian stable/security 140.7.0esr-1~deb13u1 Search suggestion DO NOT work - version from Mozilla.org (140.7.1 x86_64) https://www.firefox.com/en-GB/download/all/desktop-esr/ Search suggestion DO work I've tested with a newly created profile and the test results are the same.
