It contains pre-generated bindings for the CEF C API and handles linking against the system libcef shared library. This crate is a dependency of the higher-level "rust-cef" Rust crate, which provides safe Rust abstractions over CEF. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1128610 Together they enable Rust applications to embed a Chromium-based browser engine. The package depends on chromium-embedded-framework (ITP #915400) for the native CEF shared library. I intend to have this package maintained within the Debian Rust Team.
