Please note that I don't get mails on any bug report I (or anyone else) file(s) by default - it was only by chance that I saw this. Please CC me in future if you want me to read your mail/want a response. Do you have debian packaging experience - or are at least familiar? If not, I am unsure if co-maintenance would be a lot of help for me. But, at least so we start somewhere, could you check if my fix[1] for bug report #1124472 works? The full context is at the same bug report. If you could confirm this to be working, that'd be quite helpful for me. (Note that this is on stable with the version of the same in stable). Additionally, if you could also check if it works on an unstable system (with the version in unstable without any workarounds), that'd be nice too. Note that we would need pristine/clean systems to check this. So ideally a VM with default clean debian install with cinnamon.
