Package: tintin++ Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Upstream TinTin++ is now at version 2.02.61, while Debian is still at 2.02.20 (from 2021). Could you please update the package? Despite only increasing the minor version there have been significant improvements, mostly additions to its scripting language. The upstream changelog for 2.02.60 mentions > Upgraded from pcre1 to pcre2. This change requires installing pcre2 devel to > compile from source. I don't know if that affects this package: it already depends on libpcre2 Cheers, Richard -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.48+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages tintin++ depends on: ii libc6 2.41-12+deb13u1 ii libgnutls30t64 3.8.9-3+deb13u2 ii libpcre2-8-0 10.46-1~deb13u1 ii zlib1g 1:1.3.dfsg+really1.3.1-1+b1 tintin++ recommends no packages. tintin++ suggests no packages.
