Your package participates in the upcoming Botan 3 transition. It FTBFS
and your upstream already have a patch [1] for this issue. This applies
cleanly on your source tree and fixes the build issue.

This issue is confirmed fixed by adding that commit as a patch.
Julian, are able to upload the fixed package soon?
Or should I upload an NMU?
That's fine. You can also label it a team upload, it doesn't make
a whole lot of difference really. The repo is in /debian/ group,
so almost anything goes
I've pushed my patch to Salsa, and tried to apply your packaging convention,
but it's not one I'm used to.
I'd like to hand this package over to a broader group of people;
I cannot maintain it myself; but we also need to make sure there
is substantial trust in the group for merging upstream releases
or code patches, as this is such a sensitive code base.
Sounds reasonable. Consider me a drive-by contributor for this specific issue,
I doubt I can find the motivation to get more actively involved in this package.
Kind Regards,
Bas
