Currently, the only things known to be broken are volumeicon and some AppArmor profiles. If you find any other breakage, please let Debian's gdk-pixbuf maintainers know by filing a Debian bug against the broken package and marking the bug as affecting gdk-pixbuf. There are significant maintainability and security advantages to gdk-pixbuf+glycin. Therefore, the Debian GNOME maintainers do not currently see a need to provide gdk-pixbuf without glycin for Debian release architectures any more starting with forky.
