The new TeX Info 7.3 is around the corner and sooner or later I will upload to unstable. The current pre-releases are sitting in experimental. During a test build of your package using TI 7.3 we noticed that the build hangs in the dh_auto_test stage (build log is attached). This does not happen when TI 7.2 is used. I had to ^C the running process: /usr/bin/guile-3.0 --no-auto-compile -s ./tests/basic.scm An strace did not show action on the process in question any more.
