At least for Cortex-A53 the CRC extension is optional (no idea how much hardware without it actually exists). It is also not clear why the +crc is done at all, I don't see the instruction emitted. In a related note, while CFLAGS_ARCH for amd64 happens to match our baseline, this should also not be set. Please patch out all cases of CFLAGS_ARCH setting.
