Dear Reproducible Builds folks, Recently I uploaded the first 2026 release of Black, the Python code formatter. Below is a link for a Merge Request to update diffoscope to the 2026 Black code style. https://salsa.debian.org/reproducible-builds/diffoscope/-/merge_requests/160 FYI: I see that black was specifically added to the test dependencies of the autopkgtests by Mattia Rizzolo in 2019. Of course running a code format checker as part of a projects internal CI makes sense, but maybe not as part of the post-installation autopkgtests? That way 'diffoscope' won't block the first 2027 (& 2028, etc) release of the black package migrating to Debian's testing distribution. Cheers, -- Michael R. Crusoe
