Package: prometheus-node-exporter-collectors Version: 0.0~git20241119.a2b43e1-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, The prometheus-node-exporter-smartmon.timer has ConditionPathExistsGlob checks for /dev/sd* and /dev/hd* only. Systems with only NVMe devices, or systems where SATA devices appear after the timer condition is evaluated (e.g. USB/DAS enclosures), will never trigger the timer. In my case, my boot storage is NVME and I have a DAS with /dev/sd* devices that mount from time to time. The timers never start, and so no data is collected. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.73+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages prometheus-node-exporter-collectors depends on: ii dash 0.5.12-12 ii moreutils 0.69-1 ii python3-apt 3.0.0 ii python3-prometheus-client 0.21.1+ds1-1 Versions of packages prometheus-node-exporter-collectors recommends: ii ipmitool 1.8.19-9 ii jq 1.7.1-6+deb13u1 ii nvme-cli 2.13-2 ii python3 3.13.5-1 ii smartmontools 7.4-3 prometheus-node-exporter-collectors suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
