Hi, Thanks for filing these bugs and then following up on them! However, I do still believe that this is the correct fix, at least for the remrun package: if we cannot rely on a non-locked user account at build time, we should not rely on one. I don't think it's correct to rely on the passwd package lying to sshd about whether the user account is locked :) See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1129134#22 for a longer explanation.
