Package: gnome-calculator
Version: 1:48.1-2+b1

With LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 and GDM_LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, run gnome-calculator from an xterm, open the currency conversion, and set the source currency to Britische Pfund Sterling (GBP) and the target currency to Euro (EUR). Now, enter the digit 1 into the field for the source amount. You'll see some nonzero rate (in my case, 1.14…) in the target field. Then, type in the decimal separator, be it either the comma or the point. In either case, you'd see 0 in the target field. Instead, you should see the same rate as before (in my case, 1.14…) in the target field, as 1=1. . Continuing typing in digits doesn't change the zero.

The bug doesn't occur if you run `LANG=en_GB.utf8 gnome-calculator` or `LANG=en_US.utf8 gnome-calculator` from an xterm.

Please fix this!

Gratefully
Pater
