Package: lm-sensors
Version: 1:3.6.2-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I ran sensors-detect

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I followed the prompt to reload modules at the end of the sensors-detect output:

Monitoring programs won't work until the needed modules are
loaded. You may want to run '/etc/init.d/kmod start'
to load them.

Unloading i2c-dev... OK
Unloading cpuid... OK

root@office2:~# /etc/init.d/kmod start

   * What was the outcome of this action?

-bash: /etc/init.d/kmod: No such file or directory

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Modules copied to /etc/modules by sensors-detect loaded
