It looks like erlang-p1-xmpp >= 1.12.0 is currently missing in unstable for ejabberd to build there: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=ejabberd ejabberd build-depends on missing: - erlang-p1-pgsql:amd64 (>= 1.1.38) https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=erlang-p1-pgsql erlang-p1-pgsql build-depends on missing: - erlang-p1-xmpp:amd64 (>= 1.12.0) erlang-p1-xmpp currently has version 1.9.4-1 in unstable, but 1.12.0 is available upstream: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/erlang-p1-xmpp It seems this needs to be resolved first for a fixed ejabberd to actually land in unstable.
