The a2x utility as installed by asciidoc does not seem to work out of the box: % a2x -f pdf somefile.txt a2x: failed: cannot find required program: fop.sh So I thought "maybe the 'fop' package isn't installed?" But: % dpkg -s fop Package: fop Status: install ok installed ....
