Hi Josenilson,

Just to give a little background on the history of this package.

The ProtonVPN-CLI package was already in the Debian archive once.
Debian Package Tracker: https://tracker.debian.org/protonvpn-cli
Salsa Vcs-Browser: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/protonvpn-cli

It was accepted into unstable on 2020-10-18:

https://tracker.debian.org/news/1183804/accepted-protonvpn-cli-224-1-source-all-into-unstable-unstable/

This upload closed #961706.

However, the package was later removed on 2020-12-04 after a removal
request (#975604). At the time, upstream contacted me saying they
were working on a new official CLI client that would replace the
community-maintained one that had been packaged in Debian.

They also planned to distribute it through their own repository
initially so users could receive updates immediately when released.

Because of that, they asked for the Debian package to be removed to
avoid version conflicts and possible user confusion.

It might be worth checking whether the current proton-vpn-cli you are
packaging corresponds to the official client maintained by Proton today,
or if it is still the older/community implementation.

If the upstream situation has changed and this is now the officially
maintained client, reintroducing it in Debian could make sense.
In any case, it might be useful to check upstream current position on this.

Cheers,
