Package: anacron Version: 2.3-43 Apparently Debian's security updates are not installed via anacron, if the laptop is on battery power. Is this reasonable? A Lenovo P1 gen 7 runs for >8h on battery, if fully charged in the morning. Thats sufficient for a whole working day. After work or on idle time it is shut down / hibernated. Usually it is shut off when connected to AC over night.
I would suggest to replace the ConditionACPower=true in anacron's service file by something looking at the charging level (eg > 25%). Regards Harri
