I have NMUed faucc to delayed=15. Since I did several changes the easiest way to let you investigate was the migration to Salsa. Thus you can find all changes here: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/faucc I've found a login of Stefan Potyra on Salsa and granted Maintainer permissions on this repository to enable straightforward access.
