Hello Chris, Thank you for creating this fix. I confirm that it is working fine in sid.
The live images are building again with a fresh build of d-i from git, so I guess that the daily netinst images will be generated soon again as well. The test results in openQA as passing too, so it appears that we do not have a testing path that requires the new functionality. With kind regards, Roland Clobus
